My personal healing journey was not prompted by a traumatic event, but rather a curiosity in how I could feel better. My family benefitted from traditional psychology. I also found self-help, spiritual practices, music, and art to be helpful.

  • Here is a listing of local, regional, and national service support information complied by The Pete Foundation including addiction aid, suicide prevention, psychiatrists, psychologists, and healing apps.

  • Here are a few recommendations for alternative practitioners who provide both in-person and on-line support. I offer this small sampling to give you an idea of what worked for me personally and to encourage you to be open to the vast array of healing options.

  • Here is how I hear my heart. It sounds like the language of my ancestors blended with the words of my tongue today.

  • Here is how my art provides a lens that continues to expand the scope of my vision.

Disclaimer: my work is not a replacement for psychotherapy or medical consultations. Healing is a multifaceted journey and I encourage you to find the combination of practitioners and practices that are right for you.
